| dc.description.abstract | Os implantes dentários utilizando o protocolo de duas fases cirúrgicas têm alcançado sucesso clínico comprovado por mais de 40 anos. A evolução das técnicas cirúrgicas, o aperfeiçoamento dos métodos de diagnóstico, um melhor conhecimento da biologia dos tecidos envolvidos e a melhoria na qualidade do implante a nível do desenho e da superfície vêm dar suporte a trabalhos com protocolo de uma única fase cirúrgica e colocação de próteses sobre implantes recém colocados. Uma das alternativas actuais para reabilitar pacientes com perda total ou parcial de dentes é o uso da carga imediata, fazendo com que os implantes recebam carga mastigatória sem a necessidade de esperar pelo processo de osteointegração. A principal função do uso dessa técnica é simplificar o procedimento, reduzindo o tempo de tratamento e o período de cicatrização, melhorar a função mastigatória, a fonética e a estética oro-facial. É conhecido que a colocação de carga prematura sobre os implantes durante o período de cicatrização pode levar a formação de tecido fibroso, porém, a carga imediata não é a única responsável pela formação deste tecido. É de salientar que este tipo de técnica não deve ser utilizado como substituta da técnica convencional, e sim, como uma alternativa de tratamento, onde os seus princípios estão bem indicados. O objectivo desta monografia é fazer uma revisão bibliográfica incidindo as pesquisas em carga imediata em Implantologia que abordem as possibilidades de se restaurar imediatamente um implante unitário, analisando os critérios para indicações, limitações e contra-indicações desta técnica, juntamente com as suas vantagens e os principais factores para obtenção de sucesso em implantes dentários. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | The dental implants using the protocol of two surgeries have shown clinical success achieved by more than 40 years. The evolution of surgical techniques, improvement in methods of diagnosis, better knowledge of the biology of the tissues involved and improving the quality of the implant in the design of the surface and come to support the protocol to work with a single stage and surgical placement of prostheses newly placed on implants. One of the current alternatives to rehabilitate patients with total or partial loss of teeth is the use of immediate load, which meant that mastigatory load receive implants without having to wait for the process of osteointegration. The main function of the use of this technique is to simplify the procedure, reducing the treatment time and period of healing, improve the mastigatory function, the aural and aesthetic oro-facial. It is known that the premature release of load on the implants during the period of healing can lead to formation of fibrous tissue, however, the immediate load is not the only one responsible for the formation of this fabric. It should be noted that this type of technique should not be used as a replacement for conventional technique, but, as an alternative treatment, where their principles are well stated. The aim of this monograph is to review the research literature focusing on immediate load Implantology in addressing the potential to immediately restore a unitary implant, analyzing the criteria for indications, contra-indications and limitations of this technique, along with their advantages and key factors for achieving success in dental implants. | eng |
