| dc.description.abstract | A instituição Escola é um local de desenvolvimento e de aprendizagem para os jovens. No entanto, a presença de fatores de risco (e.g., internos ou externos à escola) potencializam a ocorrência de comportamentos menos adequados, contribuindo para um contexto escolar nocivo, para os alunos e profissionais docentes e não docentes. A presente investigação teve como principal objetivo a realização do diagnóstico do meio escolar e do meio envolvente à escola. O estudo seguiu um desenho exploratório, descritivo, retrospetivo e transversal, através da recolha de dados qualitativos e quantitativos. A investigação baseou-se no autorrelato com recurso ao método de questionário e de observação. A amostra foi constituída por 72 participantes, de 4 escolas localizadas no Distrito de Setúbal, os sujeitos foram escolhidos aleatoriamente. Com este estudo, foi possível concluir que fatores como os espaços interiores e exteriores à escola, contribuem para o agravamento do comportamento dos alunos. Esta investigação permite que os profissionais de ensino tenham acesso a uma visão abrangente das problemáticas existentes em contexto escolar e no meio envolvente à instância escolar, permitindo que encontrem estratégias, para trabalhar áreas que carecem de intervenção. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The school is a place of development and learning for young people. However, the presence of some risk factors (e.g., internal or external to the school) may lead to less appropriate behavior, and can contribute to a harmful school context, for students and school employees. In this way, the main objective of this investigation, is to diagnose the school environment and the environment surrounding the school. The study followed an exploratory, descriptive, retrospective and transverse design, through the collection of qualitative and quantitative data. The research was based on self-report, using the questionnaire method and observation. The sample consisted of 72 participants, from 4 schools located in the District of Setúbal, in which subjects were randomly chosen. With this study, it was possible to conclude that factors such as the interior and exterior spaces of the school contribute to the aggravation of students’ behavior. This research allows the professionals to have access to a comprehensive view of the problems that exist in the school context and in the environment surrounding the school, allowing them to find strategies to work in areas that need intervention. | pt_PT |
