Na área da Criminologia é evidente o défice de estudos que abordam especificamente a criminalidade exercida pela população aqui apresentada, sendo esta dissertação inovadora neste aspeto. Como resultado final, espera-se uma atualização de conteúdo de acordo com a exaustiva revisão da literatura e, também, a introdução de novos dados úteis para a continuação do estudo do fenómeno no futuro.
O conceito de sem-abrigo é conhecido pela sociedade em geral, assim como a toxicodependência e a criminalidade, tornando-se, deste modo, primordial estabelecer uma ligação entre as noções aqui apresentadas. Por outro lado, é também essencial o estudo da relação droga-crime nesta população, considerada vulnerável, para que se perceba quais os fatores do ponto de vista social e pessoal que despoletam o seu comportamento.
In the Crimonology area the deficit of studies that specifically target the crime exercised by the population is evident, what makes this an innovative dissertion on the matter. As the result, an actualization of content, in accord with the exaustive revision of literature, is expected, and, also, an introduction of new useful data for the continuation in studying this phenomenon in the future. The homeless concept is known by society in general, along with drug addiction and crime, so, it becomes clear that a connection between both notions here present need to be made. On the other hand, it is too essential the study on drug addiction-crime in this population, which is considered vulnerable, so that we may fully grasp which are the factors on the social and personal standpoints that trigger this behaviour.
