Abstract(s)
Objetivo: Determinar a efetividade da Ventilação Não Invasiva (VNI) no tratamento de pacientes com Fibrose Quística (FQ). Metodologia: Foi efetuada uma pesquisa computorizada na base de dados Pubmed/Medline para identificar estudos randomizados controlados, que avaliam a intervenção da VNI em pacientes com FQ. Resultados: Nesta revisão foram incluídos 5 estudos envolvendo 56 participantes, com classificação metodológica de média aritmética 4,4 na escala de PEDro. Dos resultados incluídos nesta revisão, 1 aplica a técnica HFCWO e 1 HFCWC, 1 recorre ao uso de AC/VT, 1 do BVS e 1 da VNI não especificada. Conclusões: O uso exclusivo da VNI não implica as maiores alterações a nível de funções pulmonares ou quantidade de expetoração para o doente com FQ. Contudo, a VNI continua a ser um dos recursos mais utilizados.
