Abstract(s)
Introduction: Health care workers play a key role in patient care so it is important to (re)know their possible post-covid and post-stress sequelae. Objective: to analyse the prevalence and characteristics of post-COVID-19 sequelae in health professionals of Hospital-Escola Fernando Pessoa and the degree of burnout. Material and methods: the sample consisted of 61 health care workers, mainly in female (77%), with a mean age of 30.72±8.61 years. COVID-19 Questionnaire, ansiety, depression and stress, Copenhagen Burnout Inventory, 1-minute-sit-to-stand, Six minute walk test, oxygen saturation, arterial tension, heart and respiratory, modified Borg scale and dyspnea Medical Research Council, spirometry and peak flow meter were applied. Results: the most prevalent symptoms were lack of sleep, persistent fatigue, memory and anxiety. Physical condition, although having normal values, were related with pulmonar function and these with the number of the symptoms of the individuals. Mental condition had correlation with burnout and these essentially with the time of work. Conclusion: it is important to apply different tests to evaluate the multissistemic post-COVID in health care workers and in order to identify sequelae.
