Abstract(s)
Objetivo: Descrever o que é a doença hemolítica do feto e do recém-nascido, dando particular relevo à incompatibilidade Rh (D). Conhecer o state-of-art no que engloba os métodos de diagnóstico, o quadro clínico e os possíveis meios de prevenção. O objetivo geral é mostrar a relevância e importância desta doença.
Métodos: Através de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, incisiva e rigorosa, foi colhida a informação com maior atualidade cientifica sobre a matéria em estudo.
Resultados: A necessária e continua cooperação entre os Serviços de Obstetrícia e de ImunoHemoterapia são fundamentais no aconselhamento pré-natal. Detetando possíveis imunizações ou mesmo aloimunizações em gestantes.
Conclusões: A prevenção da DHFRN que teve o seu inicio nos anos 60 do século passado, tem-se mostrado altamente eficaz no que concerne esta patologia, particularmente em situações em que há avaliação continua e regular das puérperas.

Results: The necessary and continuous cooperation between the Obstetrics and ImmunoHemotherapy Services are fundamental in prenatal couseling. Detecting possible immunizations or even alloimmunizations im pregnant women. Conclusion: The prevention of HDFNB, which began in the 60s of the last century, has proved to be highly effective with regard to this pathology, particularly in situations where there is a continuous and regular assessment of pospartum women.
