Abstract(s)
realizada utilizando a combinação de palavras-chave: (“Myofascial Release” OR
“myofascial release therapy” OR “MFR”) AND (“Lumbar pain” OR “low back pain”)
o termo relacionado com a condição (“Lumbar pain” / ”low back pain”). A qualidade
To determine the effects of myofascial release (MFR) on pain, functionality and mobility in individuals with low back pain. Methodology: Computerized research carried out in the databases PubMed, Cochrane Library, PEDro, Lilacs e SciELO, performed using the combination of keywords: (“Myofascial Release” OR “myofascial release therapy” OR “MFR”) AND (“Lumbar pain” OR “low back pain”) for the databases PubMed, Cochrane Library, Lilacs e SciELO. For the PEDro database was used the search terms (“Myofascial Release” / “myofascial release therapy” / “MFR”) with the term related to the condition (“Lumbar pain” / ”low back pain”). The Methodological quality was analyzed using the PEDro scale. Results: This review include 7 articles that met eligibility criteria with a total of 441 participants and with an arithmetic mean of 7,43/10 on the PEDro scale. Conclusion: The MFR seems to have an influence on pain reduction and allows improving the functional resources of patients in the short term.
