A busca por uma educação de qualidade perpassa não somente pelo viés da organização do sistema educacional no Brasil. Ela se inicia com a formação inicial do professor que se dá dentro de uma faculdade em um curso de licenciatura. Os desafios se encontram muitas vezes no processo de inserção da educação na economia mundial. Diante o exposto, a presente investigação tem como objetivo principal: analisar a qualidade do ensino superior em licenciaturas em uma faculdade particular do município de Luis Eduardo Magalhães, no estado da Bahia. A pesquisa teve como participantes cerca de 12 professores que lecionam na faculdade como tutores dos cursos de licenciatura e das áreas exatas. Como metodologia de investigação, a pesquisa utilizou-se do Estudo de Caso, com o método misto em que foram abordados tanto os enfoques quantitativos quanto qualitativos. E como instrumentos de investigação foi aplicado um questionário que contemplou os objetivos propostos pela investigação. As principais conclusões deste estudo foram: a verificação da qualidade dos cursos de licenciatura no Brasil; a identificação da realidade das Universidades Brasileiras; a análise das principais legislações brasileiras sobre a Educação atende a demanda do novo cenário da educação; e a avaliação do nível do ensino aprendizado de uma faculdade particular na formação em licenciatura. Com isso, essas constatações que serão demonstradas ao longo da dissertação demonstrará o sucesso da pesquisa e a efetivação da busca pela melhoria na formação dos professores em licenciaturas na educação superior.
The search for a quality education is not only due to the bias of the organization of the educational system in Brazil. It starts with the initial teacher training that takes place within a college in a bachelor's degree course. Challenges are often encountered in the process of integrating education into the world economy. In view of the above, the main objective of this research is to analyse the quality of higher education in undergraduate courses at a private college in the municipality of Luis Eduardo Magalhães, in the state of Bahia. The research had as participants about 12 teachers who teach in college as tutors of undergraduate courses and the exact areas. As a research methodology, the research was used in the Case Study, with the mixed method in which both quantitative and qualitative approaches were approached. And as a research instrument, a questionnaire was applied that contemplated the objectives proposed by the research. The main conclusions of this study were: the verification of the quality of undergraduate courses in Brazil; the identification of the reality of the Brazilian Universities; the analysis of the main Brazilian legislation on Education meets the demand of the new education scenario; and the assessment of the level of learning of a particular faculty in undergraduate training. Thus, these findings that will be demonstrated throughout the dissertation will demonstrate the success of the research and the effectiveness of the search for improvement in teacher training in undergraduate higher education.
