Abstract(s)
A criminalidade alimentar constitui um grande perigo para a saúde pública. Este fenómeno pode ocasionar graves danos para os consumidores, incluindo a sua morte. O grande desconhecimento da população em geral acerca deste fenómeno, assim como o crescente aumento de casos de falta de segurança alimentar e fraudes alimentares, evidenciam a necessidade de se estudar com mais profundidade esta temática e, consequentemente, uma maior repressão e prevenção destes ilícitos.
O presente estudo tem por objetivo analisar os ilícitos criminais e contraordenacionais cometidos na área de intervenção da Unidade Operacional I da Autoridade de Segurança Alimentar e Económica. Para tal, recorreu-se à análise da base de dados construída pela aluna, que permitiram a elaboração dos resultados e a sua discussão a partir do enquadramento teórico, tendo-se assim alcançado o objetivo do estudo.

The general population's lack of knowledge about this phenomenon, as well as the growing increase in cases of lack of food security and food fraud, highlight the need to study this issue in greater depth and, consequently, a greater repression and prevention of these crimes. The objective of this study is to analyze the criminal and misdemeanors committed in the intervention area of the Operational Unit I of the Food and Economic Security Authority. To do so, it was used the analysis of the database constructed by the student, which allowed the elaboration of the results and their discussion from the theoretical framework, thus achieving the objective of the study.
