Resumo(s)
Este projecto pretende abordar essencialmente a relação existente entre inteligência emocional (regulação emocional e emoções) e comportamentos de risco. No entanto, irá ainda ser feita uma pequena abordagem ao desenvolvimento emocional e relações familiares, de forma a verificar o processo relacional existente entre parcas relações familiares, Inteligência Emocional e comportamentos de risco. Outro objectivo que pretende ser alcançado é o de alertar para o potencial da inteligência emocional na diminuição de comportamentos de risco, já que a grande maioria dos estudos actuais e suportes bibliográficos relativamente a esta temática (inteligência emocional e comportamentos de risco) defendem que a actuação comportamental do indivíduo se pode encontrar totalmente ao seu dispôr e vontade, caso desenvolva as capacidades necessárias para tal, de forma correcta e adequada. Ou seja, se o indivíduo tiver plena consciência das suas acções e do porquê das mesmas, bem como dos seus estados emocionais, torna-se mais facilmente possível o redirecionamento de comportamentos para actuações mais adequadas e eficazes relativamente à regulação emocional.
A metodologia escolhida na realização desta investigação foi a metodologia indutiva. Esta metodologia decorre em três etapas: observação do fenómeno (inteligência emocional e comportamentos de risco), encontro da relação existente e generalização da relação.
No que respeita à abordagem relativa à pesquisa foi usada a técnica quantitativa. Esta técnica caracteriza-se pela utilização de instrumentos estatísticos, na recolha e no tratamento da informação. É um processo pouco profundo quando se pretende a procura do conhecimento real do fenômeno, no entanto é de notar que apresenta uma maior precisão dos resultados, pretendendo evitar más interpretações aquando da sua análise e possíveis distorções.
This project will mainly approach the relation between emotional intelligence (emotions and emotions control) and risk behavior. It will also refer to the relation between emotional development and familiar environments with the purpose of evaluate if there’s a connection between problematic familiar relationships, emotional intelligence and risk behavior. Another goal that is intended to reach is the call for attention for the emotional intelligence potential in the decrease of risk behaviors. The majority of all actual studies on the subject claim that the behavior of the individuals can be fully controlled and dictated by them if there has been a right and healthy development of the abilities involved in this process. The chosen methodology in this investigation was the inductive methodology. It occurs in three phases: phenomena observation (emotional intelligence and risk behaviors), finding of the relation and generalization of the relation. For the research approach it was chosen the quantitative technic. This technic refers to the use of statistical instruments in the evaluation of the information encountered. It’s considered a shallow process when it comes to look for the real knowledge of the phenomena; nevertheless it guarantees a higher success on the analysis of the results avoiding wrong interpretations and distortions.
