Abstract(s)
1. Detetar as causas dos problemas de comportamento no contexto de sala de aula no ensino pré-escolar em cinco Jardins-de-Infância da cidade de Angra do Heroísmo;
This study seeks to contribute to a better understanding of the behavior problems that increasingly ascend in pre-school education, as well as their causes. Another aspect of this study is to identify the strategies that educators can use in order to prevent or resolve conflicts in their classrooms. This is a qualitative study, which was carried out among fourteen educators from five private kindergartens and two from public system. This way two general objectives were defined: 1. Detect the causes of problems of behavior in the classroom context in the preschool teaching in five kindergartens of the city of Angra of the Heroism; 2. To notice the strategies used by the educators of childhood, to prevent or to remedy problems of behavior, they alter those behaviors. The discussion contributed to conceptualized and to clarify the concepts of problems of behavior in the preschool education. The conclusions indicate that the results obtained corroborate the existing theory on the subject, nevertheless it can be inferred from this study that preschool children are the ideal population for the observation, understanding and detection of behavioral problems, Because in the kindergartens can be developed areas of the pro-social competence, having the educator a fundamental role, because it was possible to verify that although educators have at their disposal a panoply of strategies for the prevention and resolution of deviant behaviors this was not always verified due to several factors.
