Abstract(s)
Objetivo: Analisar o beneficio do exercício terapêutico na prevenção da progressão da doença de Alzheimer. Metodologia: Pesquisa computorizada nas bases de dados B-on, Pubmed, e EBSCO, de modo a identificar estudos que avaliassem o exercício terapêutico em indivíduos com Doença de Alzheimer. Resultados: nesta revisão foram incluídos 5 artigos contendo 682 indivíduos, sendo que 4 referem o efeito do exercício terapêutico na Doença de Alzheimer e 1 refere o papel da fisioterapia na parte cognitiva-motora na Doença de Alzheimer. Conclusão: o exercício terapêutico parece ter um papel importante na intervenção em doentes com Doença Alzheimer, este promove uma melhoria na função cognitiva e motora, consequentemente, uma maior independência nas atividades de vida diária em indivíduos com Doença de Alzheimer.
