| dc.description.abstract | A ressocialização do indivíduo tem sido, nos últimos anos, o grande calcanhar de aquiles das instituições prisionais e de reinserção social. Sendo o guarda prisional o elemento de justiça mais próximo do recluso é, certamente, este que terá mais influência na atitude dos reclusos com a sua própria reabilitação. Este projeto pretende, então, apresentar e explorar quais são os fatores, individuais ou coletivos, que mais podem influenciar a orientação do guarda prisional para com o recluso. Desde a orientação atitudinal do guarda que seja mais punitiva ou, por outro lado, que reflita um apoio maior à reabilitação, pretende-se explorar, a partir da administração de um questionário, quais os fatores que mais podem estar envolvidos na sua conduta. Este estudo vem, portanto, colmatar a inexistência de qualquer saber sobre esta temática em Portugal e que já foi largamente abordada no estrangeiro. Nesse sentido, fez-se uma revisão bibliográfica sobre a evolução da reinserção social em Portugal, o que foi e o que é, hoje em dia, o guarda prisional português e, por último, efetuou-se uma revisão de estudos feitos no estrangeiro a abordar a temática presente. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The individual rehabilitation has been, in recent years, the great Achilles heel of prisons and social reintegration. As the prison guard is the closest element to prisoners then this will have more influence on the attitude of inmates with their own rehabilitation. This project pretends to explore which are the individual or group factors that can influence the most on the relationship between the correctional officer and the prisoner. Since the attitudinal orientation of the guard that is more punitive or, on the other hand, reflecting increased support for rehabilitation, we intend to explore, from the administration of a questionnaire, which are the factors that may be involved in their conduct. This study is therefore bridge of the absence of any knowledge on the subject in Portugal and has been widely discussed abroad. In this sense, there was a review on the evolution of social reintegration in Portugal, the history behind it and what is on the day on, the Portuguese prison guard and, finally, a review of many studies addressed to this issue abroad made outside this country. | pt_PT |
