Abstract(s)
Com o avanço do Webjornalismo discute-se o futuro da Imprensa e dos
géneros jornalísticos a ela anexados. A reportagem assume-se como um género que
exige a investigação e uma dose de criatividade escrita, de modo a tornar-se apelativa,
havendo uma aproximação à literatura, sem perder, no entanto, o cariz informativo e fiel
aos factos. Para conhecer o futuro da imprensa escrita é necessário conhecer o seu
passado, o passado da reportagem (género que nasce no seio da imprensa). Para
compreender a reportagem na imprensa escrita desenvolveu-se um estudo quantitativo e
qualitativo de 30 anos de reportagens nos jornais Jornal de
otícias, O Primeiro de
Janeiro e O Comércio do Porto (1974/2004). As reportagens seleccionadas para o
estudo têm um cariz político-social, tendo em conta o panorama histórico de Portugal a
partir do 25 de Abril de 1974. Com este estudo foi possível analisar a evolução da
reportagem ao longo do período em estudo no Jornal de
otícias, O Primeiro de
Janeiro e O Comércio do Porto, relativamente ao tipo de reportagens, ao espaço
ocupado dentro das páginas dos jornais e o seu enquadramento em relação aos restantes
géneros jornalísticos.
With the development of Webjournalism we can start thinking about the
future of the press and the journalistic types related to it. The report defines itself as a
genus that requires research and a dose of creative writing in order to become attractive,
with an approach to literature, without losing, however, its informative nature and
staying faithful to the facts. To know the future of the press, you need to know its past,
the report’s past (genus that comes with the press). To understand the story of the press,
a quantitative and qualitative study of 30 years of reporting was developed in the Jornal
de
otícias, O Primeiro de Janeiro and O Comércio do Porto (1974/2004). The stories
selected for this study have a political and social nature, taking into account the
historical background of Portugal from April 25th, 1974. This study was able to
examine the development of reporting in Jornal de
otícias, O Primeiro de Janeiro and
O Comércio do Porto, during the period under study, concerning the type of reports, the
space occupied within the pages of the newspapers and how it fitted within other
journalistic types.
