Abstract(s)
Changes in recent years in educational reforms in the European Area, with particular reference to the chain of events that took place after the Bologna Declaration of 19 June 1999, have widened the interrecognition of training provided in educational institutions different countries and the consequent approximation of curricula. The market logic and sociological phenomena that have occurred in the recent past have led, in a short time, to move from a situation in which the labor field in the health sector changed from a situation of extreme deficit of nursing professionals to a situation of some comfort. As this process was relatively rapid, and made worse by the country's serious socio-economic situation, newly trained nurses were forced to look for alternatives. Because it is considered relevant to understand the professional perspectives of nursing students of the CLE of UFP, we opted for this work. A quantitative study was carried out through a closed and mixed questionnaire, sent to the institutional e-mail of the students enrolled in the various training years of the CLE of the UFP, and 34 responses were obtained. With the completion of this graduation project, it is intended to clarify if the future nurses trained by the UFP plan to exercise preferably in Portuguese territory or in a third country; the areas of specialty in which they would prefer to exercise their professional activity; what their fears and concerns and what are their main motivations.
