Abstract(s)
Refletimos nesse estudo sobre a gestão da supervisão escolar no município de Grajaú, partindo das concepções que temos da supervisão escolar entendemos que esse profissional potencializa a melhoria do processo educativo na escola. Para isso lançamos nosso olhar investigativo sobre estas práticas de supervisão que se estabelecem nas escolas municipais de Grajaú município maranhense, sendo este nosso objeto de estudo. Procuramos através de um estudo empírico conhecer a gestão da supervisão escolar em cinco escolas municipais em Grajaú – Maranhão /Brasil nos apropriando de uma literatura pertinente ao entendimento do que seja supervisão escolar bem como recolhendo informações de gestores e supervisores escolares destas escolas para saber o que fazem e como fazem essa tarefa de supervisionar a escola em sua dinâmica durante o ano letivo. Percebemos no desenvolvimento da pesquisa que nesse município não temos a figura do supervisor conforme orientações contidas na legislação educacional, ao mesmo tempo em que o referido profissional é identificado como sendo o coordenador pedagógico, acumulando dessa forma as funções de coordenação e supervisão escolar. Para chegarmos a esse resultado nos apropriamos de instrumentos metodológicos que se alinham com a pesquisa de cunho qualitativo tais como a observação dos contextos investigados e a aplicação de entrevistas e questionários cujos resultados nos apontaram para essa realidade, mediante a qual podemos inferir que a Secretaria de Educação Municipal mantém nas escolas de ensino fundamental um profissional formado em pedagogia, o qual assume a função de coordenador /supervisor para dar conta de todas as prerrogativas de um coordenador pedagógico e ao mesmo tempo de um supervisor escolar.
We reflect in this study about the management of school supervision in the municipality of Grajaú, starting from our conceptions of school supervision, we understand that this professional enhances the improvement of the educational process in the school. To this end, we have launched our investigative gaze on these supervisory practices that are established in the municipal schools of Grajaú municipality of Maranhão, being our object of study. We searched through an empirical study the management of school supervision in five municipal schools in Grajaú - Maranhão / Brazil, appropriating a literature pertinent to the understanding of what is school supervision as well as collecting information from school managers and supervisors of these schools to know what do and how they do this task of supervising the school in its dynamic during the school year. We noticed in the development of the research that in this municipality we do not have the figure of the supervisor according to the guidelines contained in the educational legislation, while the said professional is identified as being the pedagogical coordinator, accumulating the functions of school coordination and supervision. To reach this result, we appropriate methodological tools that align with qualitative research such as the observation of the contexts investigated and the application of interviews and questionnaires whose results pointed us to this reality, through which we can infer that the Secretariat of Municipal Education maintains in primary schools a professional trained in pedagogy, who assumes the role of coordinator / supervisor to account for all the prerogatives of a pedagogical coordinator and at the same time a school supervisor.
