Abstract(s)
Objetivo: Sintetizar a intervenção da Fisioterapia em crianças diagnosticadas com torcicolo muscular congénito (TMC). Metodologia: Pesquisa computorizada nas bases de dados, PubMed, Web of Science, CINAHL e PEDro, de modo a selecionar estudos randomizados controlados que avaliassem as diferentes intervenções fisioterapêuticas no tratamento do TMC. Resultados: 6 estudos cumpriram os critérios de elegibilidade definidos, tendo apresentado resultados para um total de 209 latentes e uma média de classificação da qualidade metodológica de 6/10 segundo a escala de PEDro. Conclusão: Todas as técnicas fisioterapêuticas utilizadas nos diferentes artigos obtiveram alguma eficácia no tratamento do TMC, com a exceção do kinesio taping. A Fisioterapia desempenha um papel fundamental no tratamento desta patologia, principalmente quando é diagnosticada e tratada precocemente.
