Abstract(s)
Introdução: A Doença de Parkinson (DP) é uma doença do movimento crónica progressiva dos gânglios da base que afeta a funcionalidade do indivíduo.
Objetivo: avaliar a eficácia da whole body vibration (WBV) em pacientes diagnosticados com doença de Parkinson. Metodologia: Foi feita uma pesquisa nas bases de dados Ebsco e Pubmed de forma a selecionar artigos em que fosse aplicada a WBV em pacientes com DP. Resultados: Na revisão foram incluídos 5 artigos, aos quais foi avaliada a qualidade metodológica através da Critical Appraisal Skills Programme (CASP). Os artigos abordaram comparações da aplicação de WBV com outras técnicas assim como com um grupo placebo. Conclusão: Conclui-se que a aplicação da técnica em estudo deverá ser mais estudada, assim como condições e frequências de tratamento.
