Abstract(s)
Objetivo: Determinar os efeitos da compressão isquémica no tratamento dos pontos de gatilho miofasciais no trapézio superior. Metodologia: Pesquisa nas bases de dados Pubmed, Medline, ScienceDirect, PEDro e SciELO. A pesquisa foi efetuada utilizando termos livres e dois operadores booleanos: “OR” e “AND”. A qualidade metodológica dos estudos foi analisada usando a Physiotherapy Evidence Data base scoring scale (PEDro). Resultados: Seis estudos cumpriram os critérios de inclusão e obtiveram uma média aritmética de 6.5/10 na escala de PEDro, com um total de 338 participantes. Os estudos selecionados incluíram a análise da compressão isquémica nos pontos gatilho miofasciais do trapézio superior e foram encontrados resultados estatisticamente significativos. Conclusão: Os estudos inseridos nesta revisão sugerem que a compressão isquémica tem um papel fundamental no tratamento dos pontos gatilho miofasciais presentes no Trapézio superior.
