| dc.description.abstract | O presente projeto de graduação incide sobre o estudo da Resolução 1325 do Conselho de Segurança da Organização das Nações Unidas e da sua implementação no âmbito da agenda Mulheres, Paz e Segurança. O objetivo central da investigação consiste em analisar até que ponto a implementação da referida Resolução tem contribuído, efetivamente, para a participação e proteção das Mulheres em contexto de conflito considerando o carácter predominantemente normativo das suas disposições. Para tal, o projeto procura compreender o papel das Resoluções como instrumentos de regulação da segurança internacional; analisar a evolução progressiva da incorporação da perspectiva de género nas Relações Internacionais; examinar os mecanismos de implementação da Resolução 1325 e da Agenda em questão; identificar os principais avanços e desafios na sua implementação, e numa reta final, analisar o limiar entre o plano normativo e a aplicação prática dos objetivos e recomendações definidas no documento. A metodologia adotada é de natureza qualitativa, assente na análise bibliográfica de artigos e documentos académicos, utilizando fontes institucionais, jurídicas e documentos produzidos pelas Nações Unidas, Un Women e outras organizações internacionais relevantes. O presente estudo recorre ainda à análise de dados estatísticos e de casos práticos que ilustram tanto os progressos alcançados como os obstáculos que persistem face à Resolução. Por fim, pretende-se oferecer uma reflexão crítica, com base na análise efetuada, relativamente ao impacto real da Resolução 1325 na promoção da proteção e inclusão das Mulheres em questões de conflito e nos processos formais para a paz, contribuindo para o debate sobre a eficácia das Resoluções como instrumentos normativos internacionais, relacionando-o com os desafios e sugestões futuras no âmbito da construção de uma paz mais inclusiva e sustentável. | por |
| dc.description.abstract | The present Graduation project focuses on the study of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 and its implementation within the framework of the Women, Peace and Security agenda. The main goal of the research is to analyze the extent to which the implementation of this Resolution has effectively contributed to the participation and protection of women in conflict contexts, considering the predominantly normative nature of its provisions. To this end, the project seeks to understand the role of Resolutions as instruments for regulating international security; analyze the progressive evolution of the incorporation of a gender perspective in International Relations; examine the implementation mechanisms of Resolution 1325 and the Agenda in question; identify the main advances and challenges in its implementation; and, finally, analyze the threshold between the normative plan and the practical application of the objectives and recommendations defined in the document. The methodology adopted is qualitative in nature, based on a bibliographic analysis of articles and academic documents, using institutional and legal sources, as well as documents produced by the United Nations, UN Women, and other relevant international organizations. This study also uses statistical data analysis and case studies to illustrate both the progress achieved and the obstacles that persist in relation to the Resolution. Finally, it aims to offer a critical reflection, based on the analysis carried out, regarding the real impact of Resolution 1325 on promoting the protection and inclusion of women in conflict situations and in formal peace processes, contributing to the debate on the effectiveness of Resolutions as international normative instruments, relating it to future challenges and suggestions in the context of building a more inclusive and sustainable peace. | eng |
