| dc.description.abstract | Estudou-se as notícias veiculadas por três jornais diários no período da greve de 1912, em Juiz de Fora. O pharol, Jornal do commércio e Diário mercantil. O objetivo aqui é destacar a atuação da imprensa como veículo capaz de informar, formar opiniões e construir história. Pelas informações obtidas pode-se afirmar que a imprensa juizforana da época foi capaz de atuar efetivamente como o quarto poder – o poder moderador. A study was made to reports by three daily newspapers during the strike of 1912, in Juiz de Fora. O pharol, Jornal do commercio and Diário mercantil. The objective here is to highlight the role of the press as a vehicle able to inform, form opinions and build history. From the information obtained can be stated that the press of the time from Juiz de Fora was able to effectively act as the fourth power - the moderator power. | por |
