Abstract(s)
O presente trabalho teve como objeto de estudo uma investigação sobre O papel do Diretor de Turma como mediador na escola e com a comunidade, implementada na Escola Básica do 2.º e 3.º Ciclos Padre João Rodrigues.
A apreensão sobre os handicaps ao desenvolvimento de um processo educativo sinérgico ao nível local surge como móbil para a observação sobre o aproveitamento do papel polissémico do Diretor de Turma (DT), como mediador e intermediário da comunicação entre vários atores, no sentido de os aproximar de forma eficiente através do exercício das suas funções: na relação com os alunos, professores da turma, Encarregados de Educação; assim como nas tarefas organizativas/administrativas (de gestão) e na dimensão de participação na escola e de relação com a comunidade.
Para responder à nossa questão-problema – Como melhorar a imagem, interação, identificação e satisfação de alunos, pais/Encarregados de Educação e comunidade em relação ao Agrupamento? – realizaram-se entrevistas a sete Diretores de Turma representativos de todos os níveis de ensino, no sentido de ouvir a sua opinião face ao funcionamento da instituição onde trabalham e de recolher opiniões acerca dos aspetos passíveis de melhoramento.
Os resultados mostram que o DT medeia o envolvimento dos pais/EE na realização de atividades educativas com os alunos e os professores da turma em contextos de aprendizagem, sendo necessário responsabilizar-se pela operacionalização de estratégias específicas para aproximar todos os agentes educativos, tornando-os mais participativos e atentos na procura de soluções adequadas aos problemas e desafios colocados pela educação.
Então, perante os resultados obtidos e porque reconhecemos que a motivação dos alunos e dos seus pais, no que concerne à Escola, é fundamental, elaborámos um projeto de intervenção intitulado “A nossa escola mudou”, a implementar no próximo ano letivo no Agrupamento de Escolas de Sernancelhe, centrado na relação escola-comunidade, privilegiando a inovação. O projeto assenta em três vetores, designadamente a criação do Dia dos pais/Encarregados de Educação, da TV Escola e do Gabinete de Apoio ao Aluno e à Família. Na conjuntura atual, apesar dos vários obstáculos à sua funcionalidade como projetor de imagens sobre uma comunidade educativa, cabe ao DT pintar um quadro sobre a escola como uma janela aberta para o mundo.
Pretendemos implementar o projeto “A nossa escola mudou”, na certeza de que este ajudará a mudar a imagem da escola perante as comunidades escolar e extraescolar, projetando o Agrupamento para um patamar de inovação e de diferença.
This work was the object of investigation´s study about the role of the Director´s Class as a mediator in the school and in the community, implemented into the 2nd and 3rd cycle of basic education, in Padre João Rodrigues School. Apprehension about the handicaps the development of a synergistic educational process at the local level comes as mobile for observation over the use of polysemic role of Director Class (DC), as a mediator and communication´s intermediary between various actors in order to bring the efficiently through the exercise of their duties: the relationship with the students, class teachers, Guardians; as well as the organizational / administrative tasks (management) and the dimension of participation in school and community relations. To answer our question-problem - How to improve the image, interaction, identification and satisfaction of students, parents / Guardians and the community in relation to the School grouping? - Interviews were held to seven representative group of directors of all educational levels, to hear your opinion about the functioning of the institution where they work and gather opinions about the likely improvement aspects. The results show that the DC mediates the involvement of parents /Guardians in educational activities with students and teachers of the class in learning contexts, being necessary to take responsibilities for the implementation of specific strategies to bring close all education agents, making them most participative and attentive in the search of appropriate solutions to the problems and education´s challenges. Then, before the results and because we recognize the students ‘motivations and their parents regarding the school, is fundamental we have prepared an intervention project entitled "Our school has changed," to implement next year in Grouping School of Sernancelhe, focused on school-community relationship, focusing on innovation. The project is based on three vectors, namely the creation of Father's Day / Guardian, TV School and the Student and Family ´s Office Support. In the current situation, despite of several obstacles to its functionality as Image projector of the educational community, it is up to DC to paint a picture of the school as an open window to the world. We intend to implement the project "Our school has changed," with certainty that it will help to change the school's image in the eyes of school communities and extracurricular communities, designing the grouping to a level of innovation and difference.
