Abstract(s)
Graças ao fenómeno da globalização o crime de Trafico de seres humanos atua de forma cada vez mais vasta quase sem limites. É necessário compreender a natureza vasta deste crime uma vez que é necessário adotar formas de atuação indicadas às suas diferentes vertentes, tal facto leva á urgência da criação de métodos de investigação e combate cada vez mais especializados de forma a conseguir tratar este crime de forma mais eficaz. Assim sendo urge a cooperação de várias entidades nacionais e internacionais em prol de uma união de forças capazes de desenvolver estratégias inovadoras capazes de lidar com as várias especialidades inerentes a este crime.
A União Europeia conta com políticas criadas com o objetivo de combater este flagelo, deste modo, Portugal beneficia destas políticas possuindo ainda estratégias criadas a nível nacional onde se opera para a prevenção e combate a este crime.
De forma a entender as formas de investigação e os desafios e dificuldades de que lhe fazem parte, no presente projeto foi elaborado um estudo empírico onde através da realização de entrevistas a equipas da PJ e do SEF responsáveis pela investigação de crimes de trafico humano seja possível cumprir com o principal objetivo do estudo, ou seja, a de identificar quais os obstáculos encontrados pelos referidos Órgãos de Polícia Criminal aquando da investigação e combate ao crime de tráfico de seres humanos.
Thanks to the phenomenon of globalization, the crime of human trafficking in is increasingly widespread, almost without limits. It is necessary to understand the vast nature of this crime since it is necessary to adopt forms of action indicated to its various aspects, this fact leads to the urgency of creating increasingly specialized methods of investigation and combat in order to be able to deal with this crime in a more efficient way. Therefore, there is an urgent need for the cooperation of several national and international entities in favor of a union of forces capable of developing innovative strategies capable of dealing with the various specialties inherent to this crime. The European Union has policies created with the aim of combating this scourge, thus, Portugal benefits from these policies, also having strategies created at the national level where it operates to prevent and combat this crime. In order to understand the forms of investigation and the challenges and difficulties of which they are part, in this project an empirical study was carried out where, through interviews with PJ and SEF teams responsible for the investigation of human trafficking crimes, it is possible to comply with the main objective of the study, that is, to identify the obstacles encountered by the aforementioned Criminal Police Bodies when investigating and combating the crime of trafficking in human beings.
