Abstract(s)
Durante las últimas dos décadas, la literatura de filiación se ha establecido como un productivo
subgĆ©nero hĆbrido de la literatura (auto-)biogrĆ”fica, manifestando el cruce entre
biografĆa, autobiografĆa, historia y ficción. En esta nueva categorĆa narrativa, los hijosnarradores
proponen un nuevo posicionamiento dentro de la propia genealogĆa familiar,
relatando y comentando la vida de los padres. El proyecto de escritura desencadena una
búsqueda de identidad cuyo núcleo temÔtico estÔ formado por una reflexión sobre la
transmisión de una herencia mental, cultural y/o social. El relato de filiación en una modalidad
especĆficamente chilena se encuentra en la obra Santiago ā ParĆs. El vuelo de la memoria
(2002) de Mónica EcheverrĆa y Carmen Castillo en la que madre e hija toman juntas
la palabra para reflexionar, en un diĆ”logo tanto polĆtico como poĆ©tico, sobre el Santiago
de los aƱos veinte hasta el exilio en ParĆs durante la dictadura de Pinochet. En el caso de
Correr el tupido velo (2010) [2009], de Pilar Donoso la hija del escritor JosƩ Donoso, escribe
los recuerdos que le quedan de su padre, mientras Ʃste, se manifiesta mediante sus notas
de diario, hasta entonces inƩditas, como voz de ultratumba.
During the last two decades, the literature of filiation has been established as a productive, hybrid subgenre of (auto-)biographical literature where biography, autobiography, history and fiction joining. In this new narrative category, children-narrators attempt a new positioning within their own family genealogy by narrating and commenting on their parentās lives. This writing project begins a quest of identity whose thematic nucleus is the reflection of a mental, cultural and/or social legacy. This filiation narrative shows its specifically Chilean modality in the work Santiago ā ParĆs. El vuelo de la memoria (2002) by Mónica EcheverrĆa and Carmen Castillo where mother and daughter speak in a political as well as poetic dialogue, about the city of Santiago in the twenties all the way through exile in Paris during the Pinochet dictatorship. Correr el tupido velo (2010) [2009] by Pilar Donoso, JosĆ© Donosoās daughter, textualizes the remains of her own memories about her father, while his voice manifests in his diary entries, unpublished until then, as an afterlife voice.
