Objective: To determine the effect of Slackline (SL) Training on Balance Performance. Methods: Research on computerized databases PubMed / Medline / PEDro / Web Of Science / RCAAP and Lilacs to identify randomized controlled trials that evaluates the Balance Performance of the Slackline Training. Results: In this review were included 10 studies involving 291 participants, with methodological classification of 7/10 arithmetic mean in the PEDro scale. Of the studies included in this review, 8 showed significant improvement in balance after training and 2 presented no significant improvement in balance. Conclusion: The effects of transferring SL training to other static and dynamic tasks on balance showed limitations. However, SL practice in parallel with conventional balance training or in complementarity to a sports training (Basketball or Judo) showed its effectiveness, just as SL training can have injury and fall prevention effects.
