  • Uma reflexão sobre o papel do psicólogo e o funcionamento de uma unidade de convalescença na reabilitação de utentes com problemáticas do foro psicopatológico: dois estudos de caso

    A Psicologia no campo da saúde tende a compreender a doença, bem como o bem-estar a nível físico e psicológico dos indivíduos. Portanto, pretende-se perceber de que modo é que a Psicologia da Saúde colabora na reabilitação física e psicológica dos pacientes nas Unidades de Convalescença. Para que o processo de reabilitação obtenha os objetivos desejados, ou seja, para que os utentes recuperem a sua independência, tanto a nível cognitivo como físico, é necessário, que os utentes se sintam motivados e pré-dispostos para o tratamento. Um dos meios a implementar para estimular a motivação do paciente consiste no trabalho relacional desenvolvido entre o utente e os profissionais de saúde. A partir de uma investigação qualitativa, de carácter descritivo e exploratório. Intentamos compreender de que modo a condição psicológica condiciona a reabilitação física e global dos pacientes em estudo, utentes numa Unidade de Convalescença. Desta forma, para a realização dos dois estudos de caso, recorreu-se às seguintes fontes, instrumentos e materiais: o material de observação e registo obtido em consulta psicológica com as utentes, ao processo clínico escrito com informação emitida pelas várias áreas e profissionais durante o internamento na UC, e ainda o material das entrevistas às utentes da UC, aos profissionais de saúde e aos familiares das utentes. Com base nos resultados obtidos foi possível concluir que para que haja sucesso na reabilitação a nível físico é necessário que os pacientes se sintam motivados e pré-dispostos para o tratamento.

  • Social identity crisis among LGBT community of Bangladesh

    This thesis mainly focused on the LGBT community aspect and their social identity crisis among community and society of Bangladesh. The basic research intends to assess contextual identity development and identify the problems faced by the LGBT community.The study has been carried out in the capital city Dhaka. This study surveyed general public support to cause and LGBT community members, which included 21 students. Participants were university students, 20 of which identify themselves as gay, lesbian, transgender bisexuals and 1 of the Participants was a Heterosexual who support LGBT Community. It was adopted a qualitative and quantitative approach. Participants answered to a quessionaire presenting open and close questions about the study is that higher levels of education consider members of LGBT community as normal people. The study intends to contribute to the essential understanding of social identity crisis and contemporary issued in LGBT community as a subject and will emphasize on its importance in modern thinking towards the most neglected community. We hope that the outcome of the study constritute a positive contribute for all the stakeholders like –schools/college students and their staff, and for the organization of policy making and society as a whole. This study will help schools collage and organization to design the subject curriculum policies rules and governing laws, penalties of breaking the rules and all regarding acknowledges. The assessment got resulted through this study, of which 20 participants met all type social exclusion and stigma.It is showing Bangladesh LGBT community and their problems to be considered less research on their rights. The study reveals that the homosexual population have difficulties to express their social identity as a result of various obstacles such as stigmatization, discrimination, legal, social, relagious, political norms imposed by Bangladesh. The discriminatory factors imply in human rights violations to sound social identity among LGBT community of Bangladesh.
