A Endodontia é uma área da Medicina Dentária em constante evolução. A criação de novos
sistemas de instrumentação é um exemplo desta evolução, o que aumenta a segurança e a
eficácia dos tratamentos, bem como o conforto do paciente.
O blue concept wire, através de ligas de NiTi melhoradas com tratamentos térmicos, veio inovar
e melhorar a instrumentação em Endodontia.
O objetivo deste trabalho consiste em estudar os sistema de instrumentação com tratamento
térmico Blue-Wire e compará-los com outros em Ni-Ti, bem como as suas características, o seu
movimento reciprocante/rotatório e as suas vantagens.
Foram utilizados para a realização deste trabalho artigos científicos e obras literárias,
recorrendo a motores de busca como a B-on, PubMed e Google Académico. As palavras chave utilizadas para realizar a minha pesquisa foram as seguintes: Reciproc Blue,
NiTi wire, Blue Wire, continuous movement e reciprocation movement.

The creation of new instrumentation systems is an example of this evolution, which increases the safety and effectiveness of treatments, as well as patient comfort. The blue concept wire, through NiTi alloys improved with heat treatments, came to innovate and improve instrumentation in endodontics. The objective of this work is to study the Reciproc®, Reciproc Blue® and Vortex Blue® system. We will talk about its characteristics, its reciprocating / rotating movement and its advantages. Scientific articles and literary works were used to carry out this work, using search engines such as B-on, PubMed and Google Scholar. The keywords used to conduct my research were as follows: Reciproc Blue, NiTi wire, Blue Wire, continuous movement and reciprocation movement. The keywords used were crucial to organize and collect the information necessary to carry out this bibliographic review.
