Limitados de movimentos e privados da liberdade provocado pela pandemia da Covid-19, como também decorrente do cumprimento de uma medida restritiva da liberdade, são esperadas repercussões no nível físico, como consequências invisíveis para a saúde mental da população.
A presente investigação tem como foco central o reconhecimento das mudanças que o isolamento social e privação da liberdade poderão ter produzido nos níveis de saúde mental e qualidade de vida na população reclusa que, por motivos penais, tenha passado algum período de encarceramento/confinamento num estabelecimento prisional, bem como quais as consequências que o isolamento social provocado pela pandemia da Covid-19 pode ter produzido nos níveis de saúde mental e qualidade de vida na população que, por diversos motivos, tenha passado algum período de confinamento no domicílio.
Limited movements and deprivation of freedom caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as resulting from the fulfillment of a freedom-restricting measure, are expected repercussions at the physical level, as invisible consequences for the mental health of the population. This research focuses on recognizing the changes that social isolation and deprivation of liberty may have produced in the levels of mental health and quality of life in the inmate population who, for criminal reasons, have spent some period of incarceration/confinement in a prison establishment, as well as what the consequences that social isolation caused by the pandemic of Covid-19 may have produced in the levels of mental health and quality of life in the population who, for various reasons, have spent some period of confinement at home.
