A proposta desta revisão de literatura é conhecer melhor sobre lesões endo-periodontais, analisando algumas classificações, e posteriormente passando por seu diagnóstico e tratamento, que variam dependendo da percepção do profissional quanto ao caso e particularidade do mesmo. Além disso, alguns aspectos biológicos da polpa e periodonto foram avaliados para melhor explicar como a doença é vista na odontologia após alguns estudos e pesquisas.
The purpose of this literature review is to know better about endo-periodontal lesions, initially some classifications, and later going through its diagnosis and treatment, which vary depending on the professional's perception of the case and its particularity. In addition, some biological aspects of pulp and periodontium were evaluated to better explain how the disease is seen in dentistry after some studies and research.
