O Congresso Internacional de Ciência Política e Relações Internacionais da Universidade Fernando Pessoa terá uma periodicidade anual. Cada um dos congressos será alternativamente dedicado à “Ciência Política” ou às “Relações Internacionais”.
Nesta 1ª Edição de 2023, que se dedica à “Ciência Política”, o Congresso debruçar-se-á sobre a “Importância das Constituições para as Democracias” decorrente do atual contexto nacional e internacional que nos coloca frente a potencialidades e, simultaneamente, fragilidades do papel das Constituições para a construção, manutenção, consolidação e/ou destruição das Democracias, não só no que concerne à perspetiva política e jurídica, como no âmbito multidimensional da vida dos Estados per si, como Relações Internacionais.
The International Congress of Political Science and International Relations of Fernando Pessoa University will take place annually. Each Congresses will be alternatively dedicated to "Political Science" or to "International Relations". In this 1st edition of 2023, which is dedicated to "Political Science", the Congress will focus on the "Importance of Constitutions for Democracies" due to the current national and international context that puts us face to face with the potentialities and, simultane ously, weaknesses of the role of Constitutions for the construction, maintenance, consolidation and/or destruction of Democracies, not only in what concerns the political and legal perspective, but also in the multidimensional scope of the life of States per si, as International Relations.
