dc.description.abstractObjetivo: Analisar as técnicas em fisioterapia mais eficazes no tratamento da dor fantasma (DF) em pacientes pós amputação. Metodologia: Foi efetuada uma pesquisa nas bases de dados/motores de busca Pubmed, PEDro e EBSCO (Academic Search Complete, SPORTDiscus, MEDLINE, MedcLatina e CHINAL Plus with Full Text), inserindo as palavras-chave: (Phantom Limb Pain) AND (Physical Therapy OR Physiotherapy OR rehabilitation OR treatment OR management OR exercises). Em particular na EBSCO, foi inserido apenas “Phantom Limb Pain” adicionando nos filtros Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT), ensaio controlado, texto integral, humanos, revistas académicas, idiomas inglês, portuguese e espanhol. Na PEDro foi inserido apenas Phantom Limb Pain, especificando RCT. A classificação metodológica dos artigos usados para este trabalho ocorreu através o uso da escala PEDro. Resultados: A revisão inclui no total 8 artigos, com uma qualidade metodológica de 5,6/10 na escala de PEDro. Conclusão: Entre os recursos mais usados, e quando analisada a equação eficácia – custos – simplicidade de aplicação parece ser a terapia de espelho a mais eficaz na diminuição da DF.pt_PT
dc.description.abstractObjective: To analyse the most effective physiotherapy techniques for treating phantom limb pain (PP) in post-amputation patients. Methods: A search has been made in the Pubmed, Pedro and EBSCO (Academic Search Complete, SPORTDiscus, MEDLINE, MedcLatina e CHINAL Plus with Full Text) databases, inserting the keywords (Phantom Limb Pain) AND (Physical Therapy OR Physiotherapy OR rehabilitation OR treatment OR management OR exercises). Especially in EBSCO was inserted only “Phantom Limb Pain”, adding the filters randomized controlled trial, controlled test, full text, human, academic journals, English, Portuguese and Spanish. In PEDro was inserted “Phantom Limb Pain” and “RCT”. The methodological classification of the articles used for this work occurred through the use of the PEDro scale. Results: In this review were included 8 articles out of a total 326 found, with a methodological quality of 5.6 in the PEDro scale. Conclusions: Among the most used resources, what concerns the efficiency equation - costs - simplicity of application is the MT, which accompanied by other similar approaches, can increase its effectiveness in decreasing the PP.pt_PT
