| dc.description.abstract | A violência contra mulher é uma fatalidade que implica, principalmente a esfera da Saúde Pública, dadas as influências físicas, psicológicas e sociais que pode ter na sua vida. Alicerça-se, social, cultural, económica e politicamente segundo o entendimento de que a humanidade se divide entre machos e fêmeas, estando cada sexo em lugares, papéis, estatutos e poderes desiguais, na vida como um todo. Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo procurar compreender a eventual influência dos papéis de género no processo de violência doméstica a partir da perceção das vítimas que relataram sofrer este tipo de abuso. Pretende-se, também, conhecer e descrever as experiências de vitimação apresentadas pelas participantes; analisar, sob o ponto de vista das vítimas, as motivações subjacentes à violência de que foram e são alvo. Desta feita, foi empreendida uma entrevista semiestruturada aplicada a um grupo de seis mulheres, entre os 30 e 56 anos, por referirem ter sido/ser alvo de violência perpetrada pelos seus parceiros amorosos. Em termos de resultados foi possível perceber que todas as entrevistadas partilham um histórico de violência doméstica que vem desde o início do relacionamento, direcionado à influência da cultura patriarcal presente nas relações de gênero, e influenciando na produção da violência contra essas mulheres. Todas sofreram/sofrem violência relacionada com as questões de género, e as mesmas tem essa perceção. No final do trabalho, serão analisadas e discutidas as implicações práticas do mesmo. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | Violence against women is a fatality that implies, especially in the sphere of Public Health, given the physical, psychological and social influences that can have on your life. It is based, socially, culturally, economically and politically according to the understanding that humanity is divided between males and females, each sex being in places, roles, statutes and unequal powers, in life as a whole. This research aims to understand the possible influence of gender roles in the domestic violence process from the perception of victims who suffered this type of abuse. It is also intended to know and describe the experiences of victimization presented by the participants; to analyze, from the point of view of the victims, the motivations behind the violence they were and are targeting. This time, a semi-structured interview was applied to a group of 6 women between the ages of 30 and 56, who reported being/been subjected to violence perpetrated by their partners. In terms of results, it was possible to perceive that all the interviewees share a history of domestic violence that comes from the beginning of the relationship, directed to the influence of the patriarchal culture present in gender relations, and influencing the production of violence against these women. suffer violence because of the gender factor, and they have this perception.
