| dc.description.abstract | O estudo teve como objectivo comparar os efeitos de 2 intervenções de Fisioterapia: uma realizada em meio aquático (G1) e outra em meio terrestre (G2), quanto ao alívio da dor e aumento da amplitude articular (AA) dos membros superiores de doentes com Artrite Reumatóide. Foram seleccionados 30 participantes, 15 para cada grupo. Utilizouse a escala numérica da dor para avaliar a dor e o goniómetro universal para a AA. Os participantes foram avaliados antes de iniciarem fisioterapia e após 20 sessões realizadas. Não houveram diferenças entre os efeitos das intervenções, excepto em 2 movimentos articulares, nos quais o G1 apresentou melhores resultados. The aim of the study was to compare the effects of 2 Physiotherapy´s interventions: 1 performed in aquatic environment (G1) and other in terrestrial environment (G2), on pain relief and range of motion (RM) improvement of the upper limbs in Rheumatoid Arthritis patients. 30 participants were selected, 15 for each group. The pain was determined by the use of numerical rating pain scale and the RM by the universal goniometer, before and after 20 physiotherapy´s sessions. No significant differences were found between the effects of the interventions, except in 2 joint movements, in which the G1 present better results. | por |
