| dc.description.abstract | O objetivo deste estudo é compreender o funcionamento dos mercados financeiros e, mais especificamente, a evolução do índice PSI-20 no período da pandemia Covid-19 e horizonte futuro. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo, assente na teoria da análise técnica. São estudados dois períodos em particular, o referente ao período da Covid-19 e os horizontes futuros do índice. Na análise técnica estabelecida utilizam-se indicadores como a SMA e a Ichimoku Cloud para ajudar a compreender as diferentes tendências e reacções do mercado. Conclui-se que apesar de uma queda abrupta do índice da bolsa, as políticas do BCE refetiram-se num impulso do mercado o que permite antecipar, a longo prazo, numa tendência ascendente, embora com a presença de rallies no curto prazo. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The aim of this study is to understand the way the financial markets work and, more specifically, the evolution of the PSI-20 index during the Covid-19 pandemic and in the future. This is a qualitative study based on the theory of technical analysis. Two periods in particular are studied, the Covid-19 period and the future horizons of the index. The technical analysis used indicators such as the SMA and the Ichimoku Cloud to help understand the different trends and market reactions. The conclusion is that despite an abrupt fall in the stock market index, the ECB's policies have boosted the market, making it possible to anticipate an upward trend in the long term, albeit with the presence of rallies in the short term. | pt_PT |
