Abstract(s)
Esta dissertação foca-se nas estruturas residenciais para pessoas idosas, concretamente na análise da área de alojamento constituída pelo quarto e instalação sanitária. Inicialmente é abordado o tema do fenómeno de envelhecimento de modo a caraterizar os habitantes seniores do alojamento, assim como a sua realidade demográfica. Após isso, uma análise da evolução da legislação ao longo dos anos, focada na área de alojamento, indica as principais alterações nas normas e requisitos legais. Posteriormente procura-se esclarecer a perceção e requisitos dos utentes e colaboradores destas estruturas residenciais através da realização de entrevistas, simultaneamente revendo parâmetros fundamentais de arquitetura. Por último são apresentadas várias propostas de revisão das áreas de alojamento de acordo com os elementos abordados no desenvolvimento do trabalho, culminando numa proposta pessoal que procede a uma revisão formal e tipológica englobando todos os dados desta investigação.
The main focus of this dissertation are the residential structures for the elderly, more precisely to analyze the accommodation area, which is constituted by the bedroom and the bathroom. Initially, the phenomenon of aging is approached in order to characterize the senior inhabitants, as well as the current demographic reality. Afterwards, an analysis of the evolution of legislation over the years, with a primary focus on the accommodation area, indicates the main changes in the norms and legal requirements. Subsequently, seeks to clarify the perception and requirements that users and collaborators of these residential structures have, through the realization of interviews, while simultaneously are reviewed fundamental architectural parameters. Lastly, several proposals are presented according to the elements addressed during the work development, culminating in a personal propose that proceeds to a formal and typology revision embracing all the data collected during this investigation.
