Abstract(s)
O presente projeto de graduação investiga a prevalência do racismo em ambientes escolares e as estratégias de prevenção eficazes para mitigar os seus impactos. O estudo realiza uma abrangente revisão da literatura sobre discriminação racial nas escolas, identificando as principais manifestações e consequências do racismo para alunos de diversas origens. Através de uma abordagem qualitativa, foram conduzidas entrevistas com estudantes, professores e administradores escolares, visando compreender de forma mais aprofundada as dinâmicas e perceções acerca do racismo nas instituições educativas. Os dados obtidos revelam que o racismo pode manifestar-se de diversas formas, desde pequenas agressões até políticas institucionais discriminatórias. A investigação examina também as estratégias de prevenção implementadas por diferentes escolas, avaliando a sua eficácia e propondo recomendações para práticas futuras que promovam um ambiente escolar mais inclusivo e equitativo.

The study conducts a comprehensive review of the literature on racial discrimination in schools, identifying the main manifestations and consequences of racism for students from diverse ethnic backgrounds. Through a qualitative approach, interviews were conducted with students, teachers, and school administrators to gain a deeper understanding of the dynamics and perceptions of racism within educational institutions. The data reveal that racism can manifest in various forms, from microaggressions to discriminatory institutional policies. The research also examines the prevention strategies implemented by different schools, evaluating their effectiveness and proposing recommendations for future practices that promote a more inclusive and equitable school environment.
