| dc.description.abstract | O exercício presente neste texto procura refletir sobre a importância das ruínas das estruturas religiosas enquanto poderosos elementos na interpretação e construção das memórias locais do es-paço onde as mesmas se inserem. A Capela do Senhor Jesus d’Além, datada do século XIX, situada no município de Vila Nova de Gaia, em Portugal, é o estudo de caso escolhido. Em ruínas e em pleno estado de degradação, muitos são os elementos históricos que possibilitam a interpretação do quotidianos da cidade durante o seu período de funcionamento. Atualmente, guardam nos seus espaços pedaços de memórias, sendo exemplo da incúria dos indivíduos. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | the text reflects on the importance of the religious structures ruins as powerful elements in the interpretation and construction of the local memories of the space where they are inserted. The chapel of Senhor Jesus d’Além, dating from the 19th century, located in the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia, in Portugal, is the case study chosen. In ruins and in a state of degradation, many are the historical elements that make possible the interpretation of everyday lives of the city during its period of operation.
