| dc.description.abstract | A importância dos cuidados pré-concepcionais tem sido cada vez mais enfatizada nos últimos anos. De salientar que a consulta pré-concepcional tem demonstrado ser um factor determinante para um melhor prognóstico durante a gravidez e o parto. O título desta monografia é “A Importância Conferida pela Grávida à Consulta Pré-concepcional. As questões de investigação são: “Qual a importância que as grávidas da Maternidade Júlio Dinis (MJD) conferem à consulta pré-concepcional?”, “Quais os factores que levam as grávidas da MJD a não frequentar as consultas pré-concepcionais” e “Qual a percepção das grávidas da MJD sobre os benefícios da consulta pré-concepcional”. Tendo como objectivos: avaliar a importância que as grávidas da MJD conferem à consulta pré-concepcional; identificar os factores que levam as grávidas da MJD a não frequentar as consultas pré-concepcionais; determinar qual a percepção das grávidas da MJD sobre os benefícios da consulta pré-concepcional. Para dar resposta às questões de investigação e aos objectivos foi desenvolvido um estudo do tipo quantitativo, descritivo e transversal. A amostra foi constituída por trinta grávidas que passavam em frente à MJD durante o mês de Junho de 2009. Os resultados obtidos demonstram que, a maioria dos elementos da amostra estudada dão muita importância à consulta pré-concepcional. Contudo, apenas, um terço da população tem real percepção de todos os benefícios que esta consulta pode trazer. Em relação aos factores que levaram 18 destas mulheres a não terem consultas pré-concepcionais antes de engravidarem, 10 referiram não saber da existência dessas consultas e 8 referiram não frequentar por não terem planeado a gravidez. A situação laboral e a categoria profissional revelam ser factores que condicionam a adesão à consulta pré-concepcional. O estudo revelou uma necessidade de motivar e sensibilizar a população em idade fértil para os benefícios do planeamento de uma gravidez em geral e das consultas pré-concepcionais em particular. The preconcepcional consultation importance has been increase emphasized in recent years. Note that preconcepcional consultation has proved a determining factor for a better prognosis during pregnancy and childbirth The title of this investigation project is “The importance attributed by the pregnant women of MJD about the Preconcepcional Consultation”. The investigation questions are: “How important is the preconcepcional consultation to the pregnant women of MJD?”, "What are the factors that lead pregnant women of the MJD not attend the preconcepcional consultation?” and “What is the perception of the pregnant women of MJD about the preconcepcional consultation?”. The objectives of the study are: “Evaluate how important is the preconcepcional consultation to the pregnant women of MJD”, “Identify the factors that lead pregnant women of the MJD not attend the preconcepcional consultation” “Determine the perception of the pregnant women of MJD about the preconcepcional consultation”. The present study used a descriptive method, as part of a quantitative and transversal approach, involving a sample of 30 pregnant women who passed in front of MJD in June 2009. The results show that most elements of the sample give much importance to pre-conception consultation. However, only one third of the population has real perception for all the benefits that this consultation may bring. About the factors that lead 18 of these women to didn’t have the preconcepcional consultation before they become pregnant, 10 reported that didn’t know of the existence of such consultations and 8 refer that didn’t have done it because they didn’t planned the pregnancy. The laboral situation and professional category seems to be factors that conditioned the frequency in preconcepcional consultations. In this study, is patent the necessity to show to the population the preconcepcional consultation benefits. | por |
