O presente estudo, teve como objetivo geral conhecer a evolução do perfil psicomotor e sensorial numa criança com Autismo de Kanner, submetida a uma Intervenção Psicomotora, na Clínica Pedagógica de Reabilitação Psicomotora da Universidade Fernando Pessoa – Porto, no âmbito do estágio final do Curso de Reabilitação Psicomotora.
De acordo com as características da criança em estudo, elaborou-se uma grelha de comportamentos para avaliação das áreas motora e sensorial e dirigiu-se uma intervenção psicomotora semanal, às áreas: sensorial, motricidade e comportamental.
Após a elaboração deste estudo pode verificar-se que após a intervenção psicomotora obtiveram-se alterações positivas tanto no perfil psicomotor como sensorial da criança, não obstante o grave atraso de desenvolvimento da criança.
The present study aimed to know the evolution of sensory and psychomotor profile in a child with Kanner Autism, subjected to a Psychomotor Intervention in the Pedagogical Clinic of Psychomotor Rehabilitation of the University Fernando Pessoa - Porto, under the final stage of the Psychomotor Rehabilitation Course. According to the characteristics of the child in study, was elaborated a grid of behaviour for the evaluation of motor and sensory areas and headed a weekly psychomotor intervention, in the following areas: sensory, motricity and behavioral. After the preparation of this study, can be seen that after the psychomotor intervention yielded positive changes, in both sensory and psychomotor profile of the child, notwithstanding the serious delay child development.
