Abstract(s)

Este artículo busca caracterizar la presencia de mujeres argentinas en sus luchas y movilizaciones para instalar y efectivizar sus demandas y derechos, en la multiplicidad de posibilidades y oportunidades que se desenvolvieron en el siglo XX. Al rastrear apariciones y ausencias de las mujeres argentinas durante todo el siglo, podemos observar como invariante que toda movilización y expresa la ecuación mujer/maternidad, con apreciaciones y términos particulares en las diferentes coyunturas que se tomen en cuenta. Desde finales del siglo XIX, se inició la construcción de un ideal de comunidad nacional, basado en una imagen de mujer/madre/familia, que no se abandonará con ulteriores transformaciones, sino por el contrario, adquirirá notas específicas. This article characterizes the presence of Argentine women in their struggles and attempts to install and make concrete their demands and rights, within the multiplicity of possibilities and opportunities that developed in the XXth century. When searching for the presence and absence of Argentine women throughout the century, we can observe as a constant the fact that all recruitments and associations express the equation woman/maternity, with particular assessments and terms in the different conjunctures that are taken into account in this article. Since the end of the XIXth century, the construction of an ideal of national community has been, based on the image of a woman/mother/family that will not be abandoned in later transformations; on the contrary, it will acquire specific connotations.
