Existe uma gama de recursos terapêuticos conservadores empregados no tratamento dos sinais do envelhecimento facial, como peeling, microagulhamento, toxina botulínica, preenchedores e fios dérmicos. Uma opção autógena e natural para o rejuvenescimento facial, que ganhou destaque nos últimos anos, tem sido o uso de concentrados de plaquetas: plasma rico em plaquetas e fibrina rica em plaquetas, os chamados biofillers. Objetivo: revisar a literatura científica sobre procedimentos estéticos faciais, que envolvem concentrados de plaquetas. Métodos: foram pesquisados, nas bases de dados PubMed, B-on e Google Scholar, termos como: "platelet rich fibrin biofiller", "platelet rich fibrin and face", "platelet rich fibrin aesthetics", "grown factors and face rejuvation" and "i-PRF and cosmetic". Resultados: 30 artigos relacionados ao tema foram selecionados resumidos e tabulados. Conclusão: a terapia com concentrados plaquetários é biologicamente viável, simples, barata e segura para ser utilizada na estética facial.
There is a range of conservatives therapeutic features employed in the treatment of the aging signs in facial skin, such as peeling, microneedling, botulinum toxin, fillers and dermal threads. An autogenous and natural option for facial rejuvenation, that has gained prominence in recent years, has been the use of platelet concentrates: platelet-rich plasma, and, platelet-rich fibrin, the so-called biofillers. Objective: the aim of this study was review the scientific literature about facial aesthetic procedures that involving platelet concentrates. Methods: it was research in PubMed, B-on and Google Scholar databases for terms such as: "platelet rich fibrin biofiller", "platelet rich fibrin and face", "platelet rich fibrin aesthetics", "grown factors and face rejuvation" and "i-PRF and cosmetic ". Results: 30 articles related to this topic was selected summarized and tabulated. Conclusion: the therapy with the platelet concentrates is biologically viable, simple, cheap and safe to be used in facial esthetics.
