El objetivo es recorrer el lugar social, las representaciones y funciones en las autodefiniciones de los intelectuales latinoamericanos en relaciĆ³n con la idea de modernidad y crisis y su ubicaciĆ³n āentre la ciudad letradaā y las āvanguardiasā. The author aims to analyse the definitions of the modern intellectual among āmen of ideasā in Latin America in the 1920s.
