Abstract(s)
Segundo estudos recentes a população portuguesa está mais envelhecida. Com este, surgem diversas alterações fisiológicas que contribuem como factor de risco para a ocorrência do Acidente Vascular Cerebral. Esta é uma patologia muito comum actualmente e para além de causar inúmeras incapacidades, constitui uma das principais causas de morte. Desta forma a responsabilidade dos profissionais de saúde, bem como de todos os que vão agora iniciar a sua profissão nesta área é acrescida. Surgiu assim a necessidade de realizar este estudo, cujo tema escolhido foi: “Conhecimentos dos alunos do 4º ano de enfermagem da Universidade Fernando Pessoa – Unidade de Ponte de Lima acerca do Acidente Vascular Cerebral”. Para a execução do presente trabalho científico foram formulados os seguintes objectivos:
-“ Identificar os conhecimentos dos alunos do 4º ano de enfermagem da Universidade Fernando Pessoa – Unidade de Ponte de Lima acerca do Acidente Vascular Cerebral.”
-“Identificar os acontecimentos dos alunos do 4º ano de enfermagem da Universidade Fernando Pessoa – Unidade de Ponte de Lima acerca dos sinais e sintomas de um Acidente Vascular Cerebral.”
-“Identificar os conhecimentos dos alunos do 4º ano de enfermagem da Universidade Fernando Pessoa – Unidade de Ponte de Lima acerca das alterações/incapacidades resultantes do doente que sofreu Acidente Vascular Cerebral.”
-“Identificar os conhecimentos dos alunos do 4º ano de enfermagem da Universidade Fernando Pessoa – Unidade de Ponte de Lima acerca do tratamento no doente com Acidente Vascular Cerebral.”
-“Identificar os conhecimentos dos alunos de enfermagem da Universidade Fernando Pessoa – Unidade de Ponte de Lima acerca do papel do enfermeiro perante o doente com Acidente Vascular Cerebral.”
Para conseguir dar resposta aos objectivos formulados optou-se pela realização de um estudo descritivo com abordagem quantitativa em que foi utilizado o questionário como instrumento de recolha de dados. O mesmo foi aplicado a uma amostra de 14 alunos do 4º ano de enfermagem da Universidade Fernando Pessoa – Unidade de Ponte de Lima a 5 de Julho de 2012.
According to recent studies the Portugues population is more aged, with several physiological changes that arise as a contributing risk factor for the occurrence of Stroke. This is a very common pathology nowadays and causes many disabilities, which is the main cause of death. So the responsibility of health professionals and those, who will now begin their work in this area, is increased. This way arise the necessity to do this study, whose theme was: “Knowledge of students of 4th year of nursing degree at the University Fernando Pessoa – Unit of Ponte de Lima about stroke.” To execute this scientific work were created the following objectives: -“Identify the 4th year of nursing student’s knowledge, from the University Fernando Pessoa – Unit of Ponte de Lima, about stroke.” -“Identify the 4th year of nursing student’s knowledge, from the University Fernando Pessoa – Unit of Ponte de Lima, about the risk factors for stroke.” -“Identify the 4th year of nursing student’s knowledge, from the University Fernando Pessoa – Unit of Ponte de Lima about the signs and symptoms of a stroke.” -“Identify the 4th year of nursing student’s knowledge, from the University Fernando Pessoa – Unit of Ponte de Lima on changes/Impairments resulting from the patient who experienced stroke.” -“Identify the 4th year of nursing student’s knowledge, from the University Fernando Pessoa – Unit of Ponte de Lima of the treatment in patients with stroke.” -“Identify the 4th year of nursing student’s knowledge, from the University Fernando Pessoa – Unit of Ponte de Lima on the role on the nurse to the patient with stroke.” To be able to meet objectives stated it was decided to carry out a descriptive study with a quantitative approach in which the questionnaire was used as a tool for data collection. The same was applied to a sample of 14 students of 4th year University Fernando Pessoa – Unit of Ponte de Lima, 5th July, 2012.
