dc.description.abstract	Este projeto de graduação centra-se na análise dos protocolos institucionais de intervenção no fenómeno do Tráfico de Seres Humanos (TSH) em Portugal, com ênfase na sua aplicação prática por profissionais e equipas multidisciplinares. A investigação parte da contextualização do TSH enquanto violação grave dos direitos humanos, abordando as suas causas, formas de exploração e o enquadramento legal nacional e internacional. O estudo tem como objetivos identificar e avaliar os principais protocolos existentes, assim como compreender as perceções dos técnicos sobre a operacionalização destes instrumentos no terreno. Procura-se ainda identificar os desafios e barreiras que condicionam a efetividade da intervenção e as oportunidades para melhorar a cooperação interinstitucional. A metodologia inclui uma revisão documental e bibliográfica, juntamente com uma abordagem qualitativa, através da realização de entrevistas semiestruturadas. Esta recolha incidirá sobre profissionais da Guarda Nacional Republicana (GNR), da Polícia Judiciária (PJ), de técnicos de organizações não governamentais (ONGs), profissionais da saúde e do setor social, permitindo comparar as diferentes perspetivas institucionais e identificar possíveis divergências ou complementaridades nas suas abordagens ao TSH. A estrutura do trabalho está organizada em três capítulos principais: o enquadramento teórico do TSH, a análise dos protocolos institucionais e, por fim, um estudo crítico da sua aplicação prática, explorando dificuldades, barreiras e o impacto nas equipas e vítimas. Este percurso visa oferecer uma visão integrada e crítica da resposta institucional ao tráfico de seres humanos em Portugal. Os resultados indicam que, embora os protocolos sejam tecnicamente sólidos, a sua aplicação enfrenta dificuldades relacionadas com lacunas na formação, limitações institucionais e desafios na articulação entre entidades. Recomenda-se o reforço da capacitação dos profissionais e a melhoria dos mecanismos de cooperação para aumentar a eficácia da resposta ao TSH. Este estudo contribui para o aprofundamento do conhecimento e para o desenvolvimento de práticas profissionais mais eficazes, destacando áreas para futuras investigações, com o principal objetivo de proteger as vítimas deste crime.	por
dc.description.abstract	This undergraduate project focuses on the analysis of institutional intervention protocols related to the phenomenon of Human Trafficking (HT) in Portugal, with an emphasis on their practical implementation by professionals and multidisciplinary teams. The research begins by contextualizing HT as a serious violation of human rights, addressing its causes, forms of exploitation, and the national and international legal frameworks. The main objectives are to identify and assess existing protocols and to understand professionals’ perceptions regarding their implementation in practice. The study also aims to identify challenges and barriers that affect the effectiveness of interventions and explore opportunities to improve interinstitutional cooperation. The methodology includes a documentary and literature review, combined with a qualitative approach through semi-structured interviews. Data collection will involve professionals from the National Republican Guard (GNR), the Judiciary Police (PJ), non-governmental organizations (NGOs), healthcare professionals, and the social sector, allowing for the comparison of different institutional perspectives and the identification of potential divergences or complementarities in their approaches to HT. The structure of the project is organized into three main chapters: the theoretical framework of HT, the analysis of institutional protocols, and a critical study of their practical application, focusing on difficulties, barriers, and the impact on both teams and victims. The findings indicate that, although the protocols are technically sound, their implementation faces challenges related to training gaps, institutional limitations, and coordination difficulties between entities. The study recommends strengthening professional training and improving cooperation mechanisms to enhance the effectiveness of the response to HT. This research contributes to a deeper understanding and the development of more effective professional practices, highlighting areas for future investigation with the primary aim of protecting the victims of this crime.	eng
