De la cripta a la letra: la crítica de la literatura chilena reciente - una propuesta

| dc.description.abstract | El propósito de este artículo es doble: por un lado, discutir la amplia crisis en que la literatura chilena y su crítica se autorepresentan; crisis que afectaría, sobre todo, a las pretensiones auráticas de la escritura literaria; al papel del intelectual, así como a las instituciones destinadas a la transmisión de los saberes literarios. Por otro, esbozar algunas propuestas que puedan dar cuenta de la crisis. Estos planteos tienen que ver con el cruce entre lo culto y lo popular en la tradición literaria chilena; el énfasis en el conocimiento e incorporación de tradiciones literarias y críticas mas amplias que las circunscritas a la dictadura-postdictadura; y a una revisión del trabajo y escritura crítica entendidos en el marco de la academia. Todo esto con el fin de repensar las políticas en torno a la memoria y contribuir a la recomposición de saberes y escrituras sesgados a partir del golpe de Estado chileno. The purpose of this paper is twofold: Firstly, it discusses the broad crisis in which both Chilean literature and its critics self-represent themselves; this crisis particularly affects the auratic pretensions of literary writing, the role of the intellectuals and of the institutions devoted to passing on literary knowledge. Secondly, it sketches some proposals to deal with this crisis. These proposals have to do with paying attention to the intersection of popular and high culture in the tradition of Chilean literature, rescuing the knowledge of literary and critical traditions which go beyond those approaches exclusively involved with the dictatorship/post-dictatorial theme, and a revision of the work of the critic and the question of writing in the academic field. The idea is to rethink the politics of memory and to contribute to recompose those wisdoms and writings which were taken apart after the Chilean coup d’état. | por |
