Abstract(s)
Objetivo: Mapear a literatura existente descrevendo quais os efeitos fisiológicos e mentais do exercício físico, os exercícios mais adequados e como implementar de forma benéfica o exercício físico e atividade física no tratamento de pessoas com transtornos alimentares. Metodologia: A pesquisa para a scoping review foi realizada nas bases de dados PubMed, PEDro, Web of Science e no motor de busca Google Académico. Foram extraídos dados sobre o tipo de estudo, amostra, tipo de desordem alimentar e intervenção, contexto e duração da intervenção utilizada. Resultados: A pesquisa resultou em 3 607 estudos, sendo incluídos 9. Quatro estudos tiveram como objetivo os efeitos do exercício físico em pessoas com anorexia nervosa, dois com bulimia nervosa, e três com transtorno compulsivo alimentar periódico. Conclusão: o exercício físico apresenta um potencial promissor como parte integrante do tratamento para transtornos alimentares.
