Abstract(s)

O parto é o momento mais esperado durante toda a gravidez. Nele estão implícitos mitos e crenças estabelecidos pelas gerações e transmitidos ao longo dos anos, que influenciam a mulher grávida quanto ao momento tão desejado, criando assim expectativas. Ao longo do período gravídico, a gestante experiencia inúmeros sentimentos, não só relativos a si mas, também, relativos ao bebé. Estas expectativas são causadoras de inúmeras preocupações que influenciam futuramente o momento do parto. Este trabalho de investigação intitula-se “Expectativas da Grávida sobre o Parto”, sendo as questões da investigação “quais as expectativas das grávidas primigesta, no terceiro trimestre, perante o parto?” e “quais os sentimentos das grávidas primigesta, no terceiro trimestre, relativamente ao parto?”. Assim, para responder às questões da investigação, definiram-se como objectivos “conhecer as expectativas das grávidas primigesta, no terceiro trimestre, perante o parto” e “conhecer os sentimentos das grávidas primigesta, no terceiro trimestre, relativamente ao parto”. Com a finalidade de responder às questões de investigação, e ir de encontro aos objectivos, o estudo desenvolvido é de natureza qualitativa, descritivo-exploratório, transversal. A amostra foi constituída por 7 grávidas primigesta, do terceiro trimestre, que frequentam as aulas de preparação para o parto no Centro de Saúde de Vila do Conde. Os dados apresentados neste trabalho de investigação foram colhidos através de uma entrevista, previamente estruturada. No final da investigação pode concluir-se que as principais expectativas das grávidas, para o momento do parto, são relativas à dor e ao nascimento de um filho saudável. Todas as grávidas pertencentes à amostra mencionam a analgesia, para alívio da dor no momento do parto. Desta forma, o estudo mostra que a preparação para o parto continua a ter um papel relevante na preparação da grávida, uma vez que assim todas as informações são transmitidas e os mitos e crenças desmitificados. Childbirth is the most anticipated moment during the entire pregnancy. In it are implicit myths and beliefs set by generations and transmitted over the years, that influence the pregnant woman as far as desired, thus creating expectations. Throughout the pregnancy, the pregnant woman experience many feelings, not only for themselves but also for the baby. These expectations are causing many concerns that affect the future childbirth. This research paper is entitled “Expectations of the Pregnancy on Birth”, and the research questions “what are the expectations of primary pregnant woman in the third quarter, before the birth?” And “what are the feelings of primary pregnant woman in the third quarter, for the birth?”. So, to answer the questions of research, we defined the objectives of “meet the expectations of primary pregnant woman in the third quarter, before the delivery” and “know the feelings of the primary pregnant woman in the third quarter, for the birth.” In order to answer the research questions, and meet the objectives that the study is qualitative, descriptive and exploratory, cross. The sample consisted of 7 primary pregnant women, the third quarter, who attend classes in preparation for delivery in the Health Center of Vila do Conde. The data presented in this research were collected through interviews, previously structured. At the end of the investigation can be concluded that the higher expectations of pregnant women for childbirth are related to pain and the birth of a healthy child. All pregnant women belonging to the sample speak of analgesia for pain relief during childbirth. Thus, the study shows that the preparation for childbirth continues to have an important role in preparing the pregnant woman, since so all information is transmitted and the myths and beliefs demystified.
