Este projeto de graduação em criminologia tem como objetivo principal explorar profundamente os efeitos do bullying nas crianças, com foco específico nas faixas etárias de 7 a 15 anos que frequentam as escolas primárias e básicas em Castelo de Paiva. O estudo visa abordar várias dimensões desse fenómeno complexo.
Primeiramente, será realizada uma investigação rigorosa para entender a extensão do problema nas escolas dessa região, com a coleta de dados que revelarão a prevalência do bullying. As diferentes formas de bullying serão identificadas, seja ele físico, verbal, social ou online, visando fornecer uma visão completa da diversidade desse comportamento prejudicial.
Além disso, este projeto concentrar-se-á em analisar as consequências emocionais e psicológicas que o bullying pode ter sobre as crianças envolvidas, sejam elas vítimas ou agressoras. As respostas emocionais, o impacto na autoestima, na saúde mental e no desempenho escolar serão examinados em detalhes.
A pesquisa também procurará identificar os fatores de risco e proteção associados ao bullying, incluindo influências familiares, contextuais e sociais que podem aumentar ou reduzir a probabilidade de uma criança estar envolvida nesse comportamento.
Para alcançar esses objetivos, será adotada a metodologia quantitativa, com a aplicação de inquéritos adaptados à faixa etária das crianças, proporcionando dados sólidos e estatisticamente significativos.
