Conhecimento da importância da dieta nos primeiros 1000 dias de vida em França: estudo transversal

Abstract(s)
Objetivo: Identificar o conhecimento sobre a importância da dieta nos primeiros 1000 dias de vida, em França, por parte das grávidas/mães, assim como, as orientações dadas sobre esta temática pelos profissionais de saúde.
Métodos: Estudo transversal, por aplicação de questionários online às grávidas/mães e aos profissionais de saúde.
Resultados: A amostra foi constituída por 36 grávidas/mães e por 37 profissionais de saúde. 31,4% das mulheres afirmaram saber sobre o tema, 45,4% receberam aconselhamento nutricional pelo seu profissional de saúde. Relativamente à amamentação, 50% disseram fazê-la e 86,7% tiveram aconselhamento. Os profissionais de saúde (73%) afirmaram fazer aconselhamento nutricional, 94,1% recomendaram a amamentação e 50% dos profissionais falaram dos benefícios da amamentação na cavidade oral.
Conclusão: O tema começa a ganhar notoriedade. A maioria das mulheres são aconselhadas pelos profissionais de saúde relativamente à dieta durante este período de tempo, mas não é ainda uma generalidade.
Objective: To identify the knowledge about the importance of diet in the first 1000 days of life, in France, on the part of pregnant women/mothers, as well as the guidance given on this subject by health professionals. Methods: Cross-sectional study, by application of online questionnaires to pregnant women/mothers and health professionals. Results: The sample consisted of 36 pregnant women/mothers and 37 health professionals. 31.4% of the women said they knew about the subject, 45.4% received nutritional advice from their health professional. Regarding breastfeeding, 50% said they were breastfeeding and 86.7% had received advice. The health professionals (73%) said they give nutritional counseling, 94.1% recommended breastfeeding and 50% of the professionals talked about the benefits of breastfeeding on the oral cavity. Conclusion: The topic is starting to gain notoriety. Most women are advised by health professionals concerning their diet during this time, but it is not yet general.
