Abstract(s)

Este texto resulta de uma investigação efetuada sobre quatro claques da cidade do Porto e identifica e caracte- riza os crimes praticados pelos membros dos grupos estudados. Os discursos de legitimação que eles apresentam para justificar as ações levadas a cabo foram também contemplados neste texto. Os resultados obtidos através do recurso à observação-participante, à realização de entrevistas semi-diretivas e de inquéritos por questionário permitiram refletir sobre a pertinência e as limitações das perspetivas teóricas que foram elaboradas para a com- preensão do hooliganismo e das claques de clubes de futebol.

This text is the result of one investigation carried out about four ultra groups of the city of Porto and identifies and characterizes the crimes practiced by the members of the studied groups. The legitimating discourses that they present to justify the actions carried out were also contemplated in this text. The results obtained through the use of participant-observation, semi-directive interviews and surveys allowed to think about the pertinence and the limitations of the theoretical perspectives which were elaborated for the understanding of hooliganism and football ultra groups.
